In order to meet the requirements for for Google Ad Transparent click tracker certification some changes are required when using Indoleads tracking links with Google Ads.
NOTE: these changes only affect links that are being used in Google Adwords campaigns.

The Google Transparent Click Tracker Certification program helps to protect users from click tracker abuse by enabling click tracker transparency.

Basic Usage/Configuration

In order to comply with Google Ad Transparent Click Tracker Certification, when using Indoleads tracking links in Google ads, you need to include redirection_url parameter.
When you generate a tracking link to be used in a Google Ads campaign, Indoleads will add the domain of the offer url to the tracking link as a redirection_url parameter. Google requires that this next "hop" in the redirection chain from our click tracker to the advertiser is captured in this parameter.

The Indoleads platform will handle this for you as follows.

Go to the offer you wish to advertise on Google Ads.
Select your source and generate a tracking link as usual
Before copying the tracking link for Google Ads, under “Additional parameters” select “Google Click Tracking” to automatically add the parameter required by Google Ads.
Copy the new tracking link with the redirection_url parameter link to your Google Ads as normal.

FAQ

If redirection_url is changed to a domain that doesn't match the offer url then the Indoleads click tracker will return a “400 Bad Request - The destination URL is unreachable due to traffic restriction rule” error.
