[Billing v2] What is the currency conversion upon withdrawal?
Balance currency on Indoleads
Previously, balance on the Indoleads platform was only in USD. Now, they are multi-currency balances, allowing users to hold earnings in the original currencies.
Billing Profile currency vs. Payment currency during payment
If a user submits a withdrawal request to their bank account and the currency of the bank account differs from RUB, EUR, BRL, VND, MYR, or USD, the payment will be made in USD and the amount will be converted to the Beneficiary Account Currency by the the Beneficiary bank. This is because the company only holds bank accounts in these currencies (RUB, EUR, BRL, VND, MYR, USD).
If the currency of the bank account for withdrawal matches one of the available currencies on the company's bank accounts list, the payment will be processed in that currency.
Balance currency vs. Payment currency
Your balances on the Indoleads platform are multi-currency, however the payments could be made by Indoleads only in particular currencies (RUB, EUR, BRL, VND, MYR, USD). When a withdrawal request is made, the balance currency will be converted to the payment currency (if needed) based on the exchange rate applicable at the time of payment.
For example, if your balance is in a currency other than the supported payment currencies, such as GBP, and the billing profile currency is, for instance, CNY, the payment will be made in USD. In this case, the GBP to USD conversion will occur based on the current exchange rate used by the platform at the time of the withdrawal request, and the USD to CNY conversion will be based on the Beneficiary Bank’s exchange rate at the time of processing the payment.
Note: Russian publishers with the status of legal entity, individual entrepreneur or self-employed (ООО, ИП, Самозанятый) if choosing the Wire transfer or Debit/Credit card withdrawal methods can receive payments only in rubles.
Important: all time frames for the payment procedure follow the official Calendar of Malaysia.
